About this course

There are up to date industrial workshop facilities in motor vehicle and mechancial engineering including CAD/CAM, CNC and Rapid Prototyping, all utilising the latest industrial hardware and software. There is also new state of the art accommodation at The Fulcrum, Tower Park, Poole for all trowel trades including plastering, painting and decorating, interior design and wall and floor tiling. Other trade areas at North Road include all wood trades, fine furniture, kitchen fitting, plumbing and domestic heating, electrical electronics and electrical installation. The computing section of Technology boasts international training academy status in CISCO networking and Microsoft training.


You should a minimum of 2 GCSE passes or successful completion of a Foundation Learning programme at Entry Level 3. Applicants should demonstrate an active interest in working in an engineering environment.
