Description
The Faculty brings together staff and students from four departments each internationally renowned for excellence in teaching and research. We welcomed excellent results in the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise with the volume of our submission judged 4* (world-leading) and 3* (internationally excellent) placing us, on average, amongst the top 10 in the UK. This performance builds on our 2001 results and benefits from our strategic investment in new infrastructure and internationally recognised researchers. In the National Student Survey 2009, our final year undergraduate students expressed overall satisfaction ratings which were outstandingly high: Computing Science 92%, Mathematical Sciences 95% and Psychology 96%. ...
