Course programme
What better way to spend a Mummy and Me morning than to come along and take part in one of our Fantasy Cupcake workshops together - it could be Daddy and Me instead - love to see some Dads at these workshops, there are some fantastic male patisserie chefs around so come on Dads, don't be scared. This workshop is for one adult and one child under 13 years, additional children can be booked separately at the normal price of £25.
You'll work together but on your own cakes so there is no fighting (!) and we will use a mixture of buttercream, fondant and sugarpaste with the emphasis being on decorating the cupcakes although you will start the course by mixing up the chocolate cupcake mix for the cakes but we'll premake some as well so you will have a maximum of 6 cupcakes each. We'll show you how to make sugarpates roses of all shapes and sizes and how to do the swirly buttercream icing, there will be huge amounts of glitter to sparkle your cakes with too.
If you want a little more basic course with emphasis on making the cakes and icings in different flavours and filling then have a look at our Heavenly Cupcakes Course of if you would like to focus on miniature cakes rather than fairy cakes or have already done this workshop and want to learn new skills then the Miniature Cakes course is the next stage.
