140 points at Advanced level (80 at A2) or equivalent OR National Diploma at MPP OR 2 National Awards at Merit OR NVQ Level 3 in a related subject with a satisfactory reference OR "Life Experience" will also be taken into account when considering applications from mature students OR Holders of Higher National Diploma in Design will be considered for direct entry into the second year of the programme. Holders of a Foundation Degree in Design will be considered for direct entry into the third year, after successful completion of a short briding programme. ...

The Programme:
This BA Honours Degree programme encourages and nurtures the development of innovative and inventive fashion and clothing designers with a complementary balance of theoretical and practical skills. It recognises that currency, competitiveness and marketplace credibility are essential, and that clothes and accessories – and the industries that design, manufacture and market them – matter hugely in our image-conscious culture. Studio practice and contextual study are combined to offer the student the fullest range of creative and critical influences and possibilities. Students will be both informed and inspired, and gain confidence in their ability to deliver highly individual solutions to exciting creative challenges.
