Course programme

What stands out about this course?

With access to purpose-built studios and specialist facilities for textiles, sculpture, print-making, photography and painting, our School of Creative Industries offers the ideal environment in which to unleash your creative skills. Fashion and textiles give you a stimulating and rewarding opportunity to acquire and explore diverse practical skills in this specialist area, such as machine embroidery, papermaking, screen printing, batik, weaves and tie dye. The technical skills acquired can then be used for the construction of unique fashion garments, soft sculpture, accessories, or the creation of fabrics for interior design. Each individual is encouraged to develop their own personal style and approach to the subject, supported by intensive research into the work of other practitioners or genres, both historical and contemporary.
