About this course
As the course progresses, you’ll build on your creative skills and improve your programming ability. As you master new technologies used within artificial intelligence, you’ll implement advanced game design techniques into your games projects.
As a graduate of this course, you’ll be well positioned to pursue a career in the growing games and media sectors as an independent games developer, working on your own or as part of a small team. You may go on to work within a larger studio or work freelance as a specialist game designer, artist or programmer.
After successfully completing your foundation degree, you could choose to do a further year and top up your qualification to an appropriate BA (Hons) degree, such as Independent Games Production.
A typical offer will include GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above and a UCAS Tariff score of 40-56. A minimum of two full A-levels (or equivalent) is required. Every application is considered on an individual basis.
