Why take this course? This degree programme is for non-native speakers of English only. It is a three-year programme, but students can enter at the appropriate stage if they have appropriate prior learning. This course supports international students wishing to develop a career in two exciting sectors; the television and film industry. We are an exciting, rigorous and highly practical television and digital film production course. We believe in creativity and professionalism in the artistry, craft, and production of short film and television practice. The course directly responds to new technologies, practices and techniques of filmmaking. The curriculum is highly creative with a focus on fiction and documentary forms of digital storytelling enabling students to develop skills in researching, producing, directing, scripting, cinematography, location sound recording and editing. The course will offer you a range of employability skills including showreel development and English language skills specifically focused on business communication within the creative and cultural industries.

Course programme
Our students’ short films are regularly submitted and selected for International film festivals and have also been recognised by The Royal Television Society (RTS). We annually host a screening event of our graduation films in London (BFI) to an invited guest list of industry contacts.
