Applied learning
Work placements
You will have the opportunity to undertake a year-long paid work placement in your third year. This gives you real-world experience to prepare you for your future career. You may take your placement year anywhere from a bank, investment or wealth management firm to a finance department of a corporation. Recent placement providers have included Grant Thornton, Provident Financial, Lloyds Banking Group and Mercedes AMG.
Networking opportunities
With frequent guest lecturers from the likes of Lloyds Bank and the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI), and a valuable placement year, there is ample opportunity to make lasting contacts within the finance and banking industry.
