Level Five A Certificate of Professional Development (CPD) is awarded by Plymouth University. You can complete a set of three modules to achieve a 60 credit award in accounting and finance related topics. You are also able to complete one or more of the modules listed as stand alone modules, where you will achieve a Short Course Certificate from Plymouth University.

Course programme
There is no direct progression route from the CPD award, however upon sucessful completion you may like to consider one of our many foundation degrees that are offerred at the College. You may be able to use the 60 credits achieved during the CPD award towards your chosen degree.
The CPD award consists of the following modules. Please note that these modules can also be studied as individual stand alone modules.
FPC2022 - Financial Accounting (Level 5)
A financial accounting and reporting module covering the UK reporting regulatory framework, interpretation of company reports, company auditing and group accounts.
FPC2024 - Financial Planning and Policy
An introduction to the area of financial planning and policies, which will provide a theoretical and practical foundation for later modules.
FPC2023 - Management Accounting for Decision Making
A management accounting module covering a range of tools and techniques that managers can use when making future decisions.
