Fine Art - Drawing into Print

Take an interdisciplinary approach to printmaking by introducing methods of drawing, painting, collage, and even sculpture to traditional low-tech printmaking techniques. With a particular focus on translating elements of drawing into forms of print, this course will encourage students to experiment and broaden their ideas on the subject!

Through hands-on demonstrations of printmaking techniques including mono and block printing, individual work time, and group discussion, students will develop ideas that will be put towards a final project. Given the broad nature of the course and subject, this final project could take many forms!

Course Outcomes
This course is designed to introduce students to printmaking techniques as well as broaden their ideas on the possibilities of the subject. You will leave with a small body of work including multiple samples to reference and inspire!
