Take an interdisciplinary approach to printmaking by introducing methods of drawing, painting, collage, and even sculpture to traditional low-tech printmaking techniques. With a particular focus on translating elements of drawing into forms of print, this course will encourage students to experiment and broaden their ideas on the subject!
Through hands-on demonstrations of printmaking techniques including mono and block printing, individual work time, and group discussion, students will develop ideas that will be put towards a final project. Given the broad nature of the course and subject, this final project could take many forms!
