Course programme

Candidates attending this course will gain a general awareness of how to treat different types of fires, including selecting the correct equipment to deal with a fire and the correct use of fire fighting equipment. Dynamic risk assessments will be discussed and specific scenarios and dangers will be examined. Practical use of fire extinguishers will be included in the course.

Training takes place through a combination of theory, question and answers and hands-on practical. There is no assessment as this is an attendance course.
