History
Sam Iskander has been an independent First Aid trainer for a number of years. As an Ambulance Responder for South Western Ambulance Service he has been trained to deal with and experienced real life emergencies. He is also a member and Secretary of the Devon Cave Rescue Organisation via which he has qualified in Advanced First Aid for Cave Rescue with the West Brecon Cave Rescue Team; he holds the Mountain Rescue Casualty Care Certificate.A training and development professional, Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and Affiliate of the Institute for Learning, in his previous life Sam gained over 25 years general management experience in industry with Thorn EMI and Colorcon Pharmaceutical Services Group.In his spare time Sam enjoys being outside and as such is a Qualified Mountain Leader, Rock Climbing and Canoeing/Kayaking instructor. He is also a qualified NLP Practitioner and holds a Level 4 Award in Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
