First Aid Awareness Course The First Aid Awareness Course is centered around the basic Lifesaving skills and with relevance to clients needs within the working / social environment. The course is run over 3 hours. Participants are awarded a Certificate of Attendance valid for a period of 1 year from the date of the completed course. Each will be given handouts relevant to First Aid. The syllabus can be varied to meet specific needs but generally includes -
>An introduction to First Aid
>Unconscious casualty
>Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
>Choking
>Angina & Heart Attacks
>Bleeding & Shock
