Course Title: First Aid
Overview:
The course will benefit all carers who work within residential and
domiciliary environments.
This course will give a basic understanding of First Aid, what it is
and why it is so important. It will provide a basic understanding
of how the respiratory and circulatory system work.
Course Content:
The course covers:
- Legislation and responsibilities
- Assessment of casualty
- Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation/mouth to mouth
- Recognise and treat serious injuries
- Evaluate miscellaneous illnesses and conditions
