Award:
Certificate - Approved by the HSE valid for three years

What's it all about?:
This course updates the skills and knowledge of those who are currently qualified workplace first aiders and who need to renew their statutory first aid at work certificate.

First aiders whose certificates have expired beyond 28 days must attend the full three day first aid at work course.

This course allows time for revision and practice sessions in preparation for the final practical assessments.

Entry Requirements:
Individuals must hold a current, valid first aid at work certificate which must be produced at the start of the course.

Duration: Two days

Business Benefits:
This course enable currently qualified first aiders to maintain their first aider status within the workplace.

One of the main benefits to business is the requirement of a two day training course instead of needing to release employees for three days training.

Course Overview
What does the course involve?:

This course will provide you with relevant knowledge to enable you to update your skills and continue to be a qualified first aider in the workplace in accordance with regulations 3(2) of the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981.

The course is based on the three day first aid at work syllabus and includes any updates and changes in accepted first aid protocols.
