First Aider Refresher Course

The St Monica Trust has developed a range of courses to promote health and safety best practice with a specific focus on the issues and situations facing employees in a care home and social care environment.

This course is available to those who already hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate. Participants may attend this course up to 3 months before their existing certificate expires. Participants must produce their existing certificate on the morning of the first day to enable them to be registered.

The course is designed to refresh the candidate’s knowledge about first aid at work whilst providing an ideal opportunity to develop and practise skills, and update on current first aid procedures. A refresher First aid certificate valid for 3 years is awarded on successful completion of assessments as under taken for the initial qualifier.
