Course programme

It is a fun way of learning that really works.

Ulpan is a very cleverly thought out method of learning a language, and in this case, Gaelic. It has been used by the Israelis to teach their language to those returning after WW2, when they needed something quick and efficient. It has been and is being used very successfully to teach the Welsh language in the communities and in the workplace.

It makes use of visual skills, memory skills and from the start you are speaking and repeating phrases. It means that people become more confident at speaking the language even in the first lesson. Drills are used with repetition, games are played to reinforce the learning points and at the end of a class, which is exactly 1 and 1/2 hours long there is a short conversation, a vocabulary list which is used for word bingo and a few easy exercises which can be done at home if desired. Each time you will receive a copy of what you have learned, to take away with you.

It is a fun way of learning that really works.

24 week class with 2 hour sessions.
