The fisherman is someone who is engaged in fishing activities or catching fish and other animals from a body of water, be it ocean, sea, river, lake or seafood collection. Fishing has been a means of obtaining food since the Mesolithic period, and there are approximately 38 million fishermen in the world for trade, survival and fish farmers. The term can also be applied to sport fishermen and can be attributed to describe both men and women. According to scientific studies in this regard, about three quarters of the Earth's surface is covered with water. Snow and rain allow the distribution of water on the emerged lands, with the feeding of glaciers, rivers and lakes and the consequent existence of plant and animal species, including man. Solar radiation, greater at the equator and less than at the poles, it determines the thermal imbalances that cause the displacements of the air masses, at the origin of meteorological events. This is why it is essential that anyone who wants to become a professional fisherman should know the territory thoroughly in terms of waterways.
