This exciting fun packed one-day course will look at the more advanced Stability Ball exercises and how they can be incorporated safely and effectively in to your group exercise classes (with and without music) and personal training sessions. This day will include a Stability Ball Aerobics and Circuits Masterclass with choreography notes, ideas for stability ball circuit training cards and a hand-out of all the advanced exercises with adaptations, progressions and teaching points.

The pre-requisite for this REPs approved course is a recognised Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing and FITT beginner/Intermediate 1-Day course or equivalent, or experience of teaching the stability ball at beginner’s level. You will be awarded a certificate of attendance and 8 REPs points.

The day will involve:

  • Advance stability ball exercises
  • Core stability applied to the stability ball
  • Correct teaching of advanced stability ball exercises
  • Muscle balance
  • Muscle overload
  • Progressions and adaptations with advanced exercises
  • Target groups
  • Applying stability ball within group exercise
  • Warm ups, cool downs and stretches
