Flash CS6 Course The Flash CS6 Course is an ideal course for those who want to learn more about using Adobe Flash multimedia software package. In preparation for the Adobe Certified Expert Flash 9A0-307 examination, this course guides you in detail through the creation of vector graphics, animation and games which can be viewed, played and executed in Adobe Flash Player. This Adobe Flash CS6 course will teach you how to create new files, publish applications to SWF files, how to draw in Flash, how to create and adjust vector paths and how to use symbols and imported assets. You will also learn how to work with layers, frames, and the timeline and the basics of creating animations in Flash. The course teaches the fundamentals of ActionScript and object-oriented programming and you will learn how to plan and manage Flash projects, and how to work with text, load external content, and use ActionScript code libraries. Additionally, the course shows how to add video and audio to applications, how to debug and test applications, and how to publish to different platforms, including Adobe AIR and HTML5. The course has been designed as a self-study course and you can take as long as you need to complete it. Tutor support is available via email should you need assistance. APPLE MAC USERS: We recommend you complete this course on a PC with the Windows Operating System. While the course can be run on an Apple Macs using software such as Boot Camp, Parallels Desktop 7, VMware fusion or CrossOver Mac, we cannot support any issues that may occur with PC-Based software running on a Mac.

Adobe Flash CS6 Basics Course Book:
Unit 1: Getting Started
- Identify the capabilities of Flash CS6 and the files it generates, and identify components of the Flash CS6 environment
- Create a new file from a template and set Stage properties
- Publish a Flash application as a SWF file and insert it into a Web page
Unit 2: Drawing in Flash

- Create, format and manipulate drawing objects and shapes, create and modify freeform shapes, and use pattern tools

Assessment:
To earn the Adobe Flash CS6 certification you must sit a separate Adobe Certified Expert Examination (Adobe Flash CS6 9A0-307). The exam is in a multiple choice/multiple answer format. There are 50 questions in total and the exam lasts approximately 60 minutes. The minimum passing score to gain the Flash CS6 certification is 67%.
Adobe examinations must be sat at a registered Pearson VUE testing centre and cost £115+VAT each. You can locate testing centres and schedule exam appointments on the Pearson VUE website.
Adobe no longer offer the Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) Certification for CS6 Courses. The Course materials do also cover the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) syllabus so the Course can still be used for this purpose. A certificate of completion can also be issued by request on completion of any of the Adobe CS6 Courses.
Adobe Re-certification Policy:
You must be certified on the previous version of the product and pass the current version's exam in order to get recertified. For example, to recertify for Flash CS6 you must already be certified for Adobe Flash CS5 and pass your Adobe Flash CS6 examination.
Study Hours
This is only an approximate figure and is dependant upon how much time you can dedicate to your studies and how well you grasp the learning concepts in the course material. Furthermore, at the end of each lesson there is a question paper that needs to be completed and returned to your tutor. You should allow at least 1 - 2 hours of study to complete each question paper.
