About this course

The aim is to make sure participants understand all about food safety (formerly called Food Hygiene) and take the correct actions to minimise the risk of contamination of foodborn diseases and food poisoning.

This course is intended for those working in factories that produce food. For those working in Catering, we run QA Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (RQF), and for those working in Retail, we have a QA Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Retail (RQF) course.

There are no minimum requirements other than a basic understanding of the English language.

Successful passing of this course leads to a qualification in QA Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing (RQF), a nationally recognised, Ofqual regulated qualification accredited by Qualsafe Awards.
