Overview Is it safe to release violent prisoners early? Can sex offenders ever be rehabilitated? Can we prevent young people from getting involved in crime? Is prison effective?
If you are interested in the answers to these questions, then study Forensic Psychology at Leeds Trinity University. Using our practitioner and academic backgrounds, we will help you to apply psychological theory to the study of criminal behaviour. Our lecturers have years of experience working within the Prison Service, Probation Service and the Ministry of Justice and we regularly invite leading professionals in the field to come and deliver specialist talks.

Course Benefits Accredited by the British Psychological Society, providing eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership.Guest workshops delivered by professionals in the Criminal Justice System.Developed and taught by experts in the field of Forensic Psychology.We have great links with local Criminal Justice Agencies.
Typically, our entry offer for this degree course is 112 UCAS tariff points.
Other requirements: For the old GCSE system we require grade C or above and for the new GCSE grading system we will accept grade 4 or higher in both English Language and Maths.
We welcome students with a wide range of qualifications such as A Levels, BTECs and accredited Access courses. We treat every application on its own merits; we value highly the experience you illustrate in your personal statement.
