The study of forestry involves managing trees and woodlands in rural areas for commercial, social or other benefits. The study of arboriculture is more usually associated with the management of single or groups of trees, in more urban areas.
If you're interested in working in forestry and arboriculture , this course provides an introduction to a broad range of relevant topics, balanced with strong practical content. You'll work on college grounds and public and private forest estates to gain sound practical experience in the subject, and benefit from our well-established links with the industry, which have already helped many students obtain work experience and, in some cases, employment.
