OCR ITQ is the UK’s leading IT learning experience. The ITQ qualification standards reflect all the benefits of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
· We propose students attend workshops, which will be taught sessions delivered by the tutor. These are vital to learn new skills, and work will be set following these taught sessions.
· A one-on-one meeting with the assessor once a month is recommended for a maximum of 1½ hrs where further tutorial will take place, marking of work or setting of work. These can take place at the student’s place of work.
· Assignments/work for each unit will be generated either by college set assignments or work place generated examples.
· Assessors will be on hand via email to receive work between meetings. This work can be marked and feedback sent via email. This enables an ongoing communication link between student and tutor.
· As it is an IT qualification the student will be required to purchase a memory stick to save all work to. Paper usage is kept to a minimum and printing is not always a necessity.
