2. Course description The course comprises of two mandatory modules - Marketing Principles and Customer Communications. To gain the CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing a pass in both modules is required. However, each module can also be taken as a standalone course to gain an award.

Assessment method Marketing Principles module is assessed by an examination comprising multiple-choice questions. Customer Communications module is assessed by an assignment based on a given scenario and an organisation of choice. The assignment is broken down into three tasks.
