Introduction:
The Foundation Degree is a vocationally based qualification which offers greater flexibility in career development and guaranteed progression to an honours degree course for successful students.

Study Mode & Location:
This programme may be studied on a full-time or part-time basis. The full-time programme is studied over two years, whilst the part-time programme is studied over a three year period. It will be held at Preston College, Fulwood Campus, St Vincent's Road, Preston, PR2 8UR.

Careers & Progression Opportunities:
This programme has been developed to meet the needs of the major functions in accounting and has been developed with career progression and professional recognition in mind. The qualification is recognised by major professional bodies and employers in both the private and public sectors as appropriate for supervisory, junior and middle management appointments. The course allows successful students to progress to a BA (Hons) Accounting and Financial Studies at the University of Central Lancashire. Students may also gain entry to other business related degrees and professional qualifications.
