The Graphic Communication course at Coleg y Cymoedd is delivered in partnership with the University of South Wales and is taught at the Nantgarw Campus. While learners will study at Nantgarw, they may choose to live in University accommodation and also use facilities available for university students. Whilst on this course you will work closely with the University and the Students Union to receive a fully integrated experience.

With a practical and theoretical approach, this two-year course introduces you to graphic communication by giving you a diverse range of traditional and digital skills. There will be a mix of studio-based teaching, technical workshops, tutorials and self-directed study. The course will prepare you with the necessary skills to become a specialist in the field.

You will require 2 A Levels and a portfolio equal to 180 UCAS points and or relevant industrial experience. Entry to the final/top up year for the BA (Hons) will be on successful completion of the Foundation Degree. Application for the BA (Hons) should be done through the UCAS site.

Those without such qualifications are considered on an individual basis and a wide range of prior experience may be taken into account. All applicants will receive a portfolio-based interview.
