Whether you are already working within a legal environment, or would like to begin a career working within law, this is the course for you.

The Foundation Degree in Paralegal Skills, awarded by Staffordshire University, is an innovative programme which combines academic study of law with the development of practical skills in order to achieve a professional qualification. Our small teaching groups give you an opportunity for individual help and support. The purpose of the qualification is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for employment in a legal environment, without qualifying as a Solicitor or Barrister. The course will put an emphasis on applied learning, developing skills and knowledge and applying these within the workplace. You are also expected to undergo a significant work experience placement.
