About this course

The YMSC course is aimed at those already employed in either a paid or voluntary capacity in youth work/ministry/school chaplaincy and can include those who initially undertake a gap year placement in a youth centre, but who often continue into longer term positions, including leadership.

Students will need to already be employed in the field of youth work/ministry/school chaplaincy (paid or voluntary).

Due to the nature of the work being undertaken, students will work closely with young people and Maryvale is committed to ensuring the safeguarding of all students and those whom they work and study alongside. All applicants are required to have an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Certificate.
