About this course

This course provides the opportunity for learners with a range of learning difficulties to further their skills towards an independent life in the community. Units include literacy, numeracy and a range of practical subjects such as cookery, horticulture, health and leisure.

Additional Info

Students have a weekly tutorial and support is available to meet individual needs while they are at college. Learners are taught in small groups and support staff work closely with learners to encourage confidence, self esteem and other skills.
