Foundation Waxing

What will the course cover?

• Anatomy & Physiology
• Health & Safety (consultation, contra-indications, health & hygiene)
• Prescription Waxing - choosing the correct type of wax for your client
• Warm Waxing & Hot Waxing Practical
• Brow & Upper Lip Waxing (using warm wax)
• Full legs, underarms, standard bikini area (using warm & hot wax)
• Aftercare advice and how to start up your waxing clientele

What do I need to know before I start the course?

All products will be provided for you on the course day. You will need to have at least 2 weeks body hair growth (legs, underarm and bikini area) as you will be working on each other during the course. Please avoid hot showers and moisturisers 24 hours prior to the course. We recommend you bring your own lunch.
Please be aware that our courses are often mixed and not all training facilities have privacy screens. If you don’t feel comfortable with this and would prefer to attend a single-sex course, please contact the store before you make your booking and we can arrange this.

Will I need to bring any materials?

All equipment, products will be supplied for the duration of the course.
