The Programme
This course will build on the skills you developed at GCSE level and you will continue to improve your knowledge of the French language in the key areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing. You will also develop your knowledge of French speaking countries and have the opportunity to participate in a French exchange.
The Programme Content
You will study a series of topics about France and French speaking countries. You will study two units at AS, one on Speaking and the other on Listening, Reading and Writing. This format is repeated at A2.
Progression / Careers
You may wish to continue French by studying it at university at a higher level or combining it with other subjects such as English, Business Studies, or another foreign language at degree level. You might find it necessary or very useful to communicate in French in your future career.
