This single honours course is based on the same principles as single honours French, but allows you to include a substantial proportion of study in Creative Writing. French is the major subject which counts for two thirds of your degree, and Creative Writing is the minor subject which counts for the remaining third.

About this course
The course aims to enable understudies to: Knowledge of a broad range of imaginative literature.
An awareness of the importance of revision and editing in bringing your work to a near professional standard.
The ability to write concise, expressive, grammatical English.
Knowledge of fiction (short story) and non fiction writing techniques.
Studying Modern Languages opens the door to a wide variety of careers.
