Introduction
This subject allows students to further develop their knowledge and skills in IT and it follows the AQA examination board.

Description
You will build on your knowledge and skills in IT and broaden your knowledge and understanding of communication systems, the legal framework, social & moral context of ICT and the uses of various application software for practical work . You will have access to high specification equipment and the latest software in our ICT suites which are networked and are maintained by our professionally trained technicians.

2 years (AS level 1 year)

Method of Study
Theory and practical sessions using associated software, assignments, coursework and end of year exams.
