Course Details
To follow this course you should have an interest in the human body and be able to carry out practical investigations.

Units studied at AS level will include:

· The body and its diseases

· Humans - their origins and
adaptations

· Investigative and Practical skills
Units studied at A2 level will include:

· Bodies and cells in and out of control

· The air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat

· Investigative and practical skills
Level: 3

Entry Requirements:
Progression/Careers: UCAS points are gained according to your level of achievement. You may progress onto University Degrees, HNDs. Degrees that can be followed are Biology or Human Biology, Environmental Science, Medicine and Pharmacy.

Alternatively, a High National Programme in Applied Chemistry
may be linked with Sport Studies, Beauty Therapy, Applied Biology, Engineering, Agriculture, Animal Management, Countryside Management, Environmental Science or Horticulture.
