This programme has six stages from Pre-entry Level(English Prep)through to Entry Levels 1-3 (Able 1, 2 and 3) to Level 1 (GOALS). Students will join the stage that best suits their needs. On the sixth stage of the programme (GOALS) students will study.

DAY(S)/TIME(S) OFFERED Students can expect to be involved in learning activities across four days of the week between 9.00am and 5.00pm. There is one day which is a study day where there are no lessons.

TOTAL FEE The 2009/10 full-time further education fees for UK and EU residents were and have been included for guidance only: Free to those aged 16 - 18 on 31 August 2007, who are starting a new course in September 2007. 230 to those aged 19 or over on 31 August 2007, who are current students and continuing onto the second year of their course, which they started in September 2006. 380 for those aged 19 or over on 31 August 2007 and who are starting a new course in September 2007.

PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
This programme is for 16 18 year old bilingual students who need to improve their English before progressing onto further study or training. This programme has six stages from Pre-entry Level(English Prep)through to Entry Levels 1-3 (Able 1, 2 and 3) to Level 1 (GOALS). Students will join the stage that best suits their needs. On the sixth stage of the programme (GOALS) students will study GCSE Maths, Science and an Information Technology award. All students study ESOL, Maths, IT and citizenship whilst those at Entry 2 and above also study science. Students also have the chance to participate in enrichment activities such as sport, music and drama and some students will have the opportunity to undertake work experience.


PROGRESSION/CAREERS OPPORTUNITIES
Students will be able to progress onto the next level of an ESOL programme or onto some academic and vocational programmes at Entry Level 2 or above.
EXCURSIONS / WORK EXPERIENCE All classes participate in some educational trips whilst some classes will undertake work experience.
