You would choose this course in order to prepare for employment and/or a further or higher education course. You will want to know all there is to know about accounts, and be keen to develop wide-ranging skills in financial management. You will also learn about accounting in relation to management work and decision making. There will be opportunities to visit interesting businesses which produce and sell goods.

Will I have to sit any examinations?
There will be an examination at the end of each unit.

Having successfully completed the first year you will be awarded an AS Certificate in Accounting.

What next?
