'AS' and 'A2' Level Psychology

Duration: AS 1 year, A2 2 years
Course Level: Level 3
This course introduces students to Psychology; the study of human behaviour and thought. It attempts to understand people's motives, emotions and cognitive processes while attempting to appreciate individual differences amongst human beings.

What will I study?
Students cover a variety of subjects including:

· Abnormality
· Conformity
· Obedience
· Stress
· Selflessness
· Animal behaviour

What next?
Past students have progressed on to Degrees in Psychology, Criminology, Social Science and Humanities. Within Psychology many students find careers in education, criminal justice, the Health Service and business.
