Course Description: This year long course on the Edexcel BTEC Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design is a dynamic and exciting course that will allow you to gain the necessary skills to develop a subject specialist portfolio suitable for entry to HE courses of the very best standard. As a grade one provision we pride ourselves on the range of specialist areas available at Foundation level; from fine art to ceramics, fashion, textiles, critical studies graphics, 3DD/ CAD and photography; we also offer an elective in life drawing. The course aims to develop a range of creative, analytical, 2D and 3D skills.

The course itself comprises of 9 mandatory units. These units support the progressive development of the student allowing for both independent and tutor guided working practice to exist. A European study visit is on offer to students each academic year plus a UCAS study visit held in London.

Entry Requirements:
