Introduction
This Diploma is equivalent to a Level 2 qualification and provides opportunities for learners to gain a nationally recognised vocationally specific qualification to enter employment in the public Service or to progress to higher Education

Description
There are three compulsory units Uniformed Public Services Employment, Public Service Skills and Uniformed Public Service Fitness and three specialist units such as expedition skills. There will be an opportunity to explore the differences in the Uniformed services and to identify the demands made in each service. Key skills will also be part of the programme and will provide an opportunity to develop your skills father.

You will study through a series of lectures and seminars, group and individual tasks to explore and research topics related to the units. Practical activities and visits to develop an awareness and understanding of the Career pathways in the various uniformed services

Progression
BTEC National Diploma in Public Services or employment in the uniformed services such as Police, Emergency Fire Services, prison Service, Security or Armed Forces
