Description of course:
This is a generic foundation course that enables students to achieve up to a Level 1 qualification and prepares them to progress to a Level 2 course. Students undertake a combination of generic core units and vocationally relevant units that will prepare students to progress onto a variety of Level 2 courses. Students can select from three pathways, although the units will be relevant to a much larger number of vocational opportunities at Level 2. The three pathways are: Health and Care Business Studies Public Services There may be an opportunity to do work placement in the latter part of the course
