Course Description: The BTEC Introductory Diploma is equivalent to 4 GCSEs grades D - G and is composed of 9 units.

Entry requirements: No previous IT qualifications or experience are required, however a formal interview and entrance test is usual.

Progression/Career Opportunities: Students can progress to the BTEC First Diploma for IT Practitioners (Software Development).

Did you know?: The main focus of this course is on the use of IT within industry and includes a number of trips/visits, for example, this year we went to Disneyland Paris to see how IT is used within the Disneyland Resort & Park.
