During the course you will have the opportunity to visit a variety of businesses and meet and listen to guest speakers from commerce and industry, take part in a Community Programme initiative and develop a wide range of skills. Due to the structure of this course, on completion you will leave the college with 2 qualifications, greatly enhancing your future opportunities.

What will I study?
The course includes all the main areas of business studies including Marketing; Accounting & Finance; Economics; Human Resource Management; Business Operations and the Theory of Management. For the Welsh Baccalaureate you will explore a wide range of areas including how Wales ?fits in? with Europe and the rest of the world, the health of the nation and how to be enterprising. You will also study 6 Key Skills, which are integrated into the course.
How will I be assessed?
Your work is continuously assessed through a series of business related projects. Grades of pass, merit and distinction are awarded depending upon the quality of your work.
Career Opportunities & Progression
Successful completion of this course is a direct entry to University to study either a HND or an Honours Degree in Business, or Business related subjects such as Accountancy, Marketing and Law. Alternatively, employment can be found in a wide range of occupations such as Administration, Accountancy, Sales, Retailing and Trainee Management.
