ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants will be invited to attend an interview where they will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their potential to achieve the requirements of this course and provide information regarding their study skills. All prospective applicants will be required to undertake an aptitude test and will have also met one of the following entry requirements:

4 GCSEs at grades A* - C (Maths, English and a Science is desirable); or
BTEC First Diploma in Motor Vehicle Services and Technology; or
Other recognised UK/Overseas related FE Level 2 awards.

School leavers must provide a recent school report. Mature students will require a reference.
PROGRAMME CONTENT/STRUCTURE
This is a broad-based Vehicle Services and Technology course consisting of 12 units (Certificate) and 18 units (Diploma). These courses have been designed to equip individuals with practical skills, knowledge and understanding to enable them to progress into a career in Motor Vehicle Technology.

The qualifications consist of core and specialist units to provide for a range of operations and maintenance occupations within the industry whilst also offering opportunities to progress onto Higher Education.
