About this course
You will need 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Maths, English and an Art related subject, or have successfully completed a Level 2 course in a related subject graded at merit or above with key skills to Level 2. Submission of a portfolio is required for entry to this course.

The BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design (Interactive Media) is a vocational course designed to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to confidently and competently work in the digital media industries.
What will I learn?
This is a practical course that will develop your core skills in art and design and specialist knowledge of digital media- video technology, interactive design, 3D modelling, image manipulation, web design, and animation. You will complete the equivalent of 18 units of study over 2 years. You will be using the latest professional software to devise and develop original and creative coursework in response to tutor set assignment.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment will take the form of practical activities which are assessed by your tutor and moderated by EDEXCEL. To pass, learners must demonstrate competence in course assessment objectives.
