· Course Overview: · The National Diploma in Photography is a general design course, covering all aspects of photography such as black and white developing and printing, studio work, digital imagery, contextual studies, photographic techniques, visual studies and information technology. Students will develop basic skills and techniques in the first year of the course and progress onto specialist design briefs in the second year. This course is the equivalent of 3 A Levels and is therefore an ideal choice for those wishing to progress to University.

Entry Requirements: · An advanced course suitable for those with at least 5 GCSEs at grades A-C or a relevant level 2 qualification such as BTEC First Diploma, GNVQ Intermediate, NVQ Level 2 or equivalent/relevant work experience. Applicants with no formal qualifications will be considered following the outcome of a guidance interview and on their portfolio of work.
