Course Description: This programme has been developed to meet the needs of students interested in a career within the travel and tourism industry. It will allow them to develop the skills and knowledge required to progress into or within employment and/or continue their study in the vocational area. The National Diploma is a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification equivalent to 3 'A' levels with various additional programmes added to meet the needs of the industry e.g. Overseas, Resort Operations and Preparation for Air Cabin Crew Service.

Entry requirements: 4 GCSE passes grades C or above or a recognised equivalent qualification e.g. First Diploma, preferably with a Merit profile. Mature students who don't have these qualifications but have a keen interest in Travel and Tourism are welcome to apply. ALL applicants will need to attend an interview

Progression/Career Opportunities: On successful completion students may consider progressing onto Higher Education programmes at Higher National Diploma or Degree level in related vocational subjects. Alternatively, successful students may seek employment in a variety of sectors related to Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Leisure and Business e.g. Cruise Sector, Hotel Management, Airline and Airport Industry
