Who can join?
As this is year 3 of the degree course, you should have a relevant HND qualification to enrol on this course, and they may be required to undertake a bridging course before commencing.
The course aims to prepare you for a management career, gaining up-to-date business skills and knowledge to enable you to succeed within a range of management-type employment opportunities. The programme blends theory and practice and you will learn how to apply skills in the areas of marketing, human resources, business law and information technology.
How do I attend?
Students can be enrolled on a full time or part time basis and attendance may be a combination of all modes: day, twilight and evening. Some of the modules will be available by video conference.
What will I study
You will examine current issues in the European and international business environments, and further develop your understanding of management including strategic management, people management and the management of change.
How do I join?
Course Fees for Part Time Students
The modules which count towards the full degree are available on an individual basis, making it possible for part time students to gather sufficient modules to achieve their degree, albeit over a longer period.
You may not have to pay any fees for these if you qualify for a fee waiver, for instance if you are eligible for certain benefits. See the college's Fee Waiver Policy in the resources area of the website.
It is possible to use a curreent Individual Learning Account (ILA200) to pay for these modules as you come to study them.
Part time students may also possible qualify for the ILA500, which is a £500 grant for students studying HNC, HND, Degree and taught Postgraduate courses. You must study units totally 40 Scottish Credit and Qualification Framework (SCQF) credits or more a year.
