Introduction
The BTEC Introductory programme is a practical qualification designed to give students a good understanding of business. The course also helps learners to develop the skills needed to succeed in future employment.

On this course eight units are studied over the year. All of the units are completed by way of assignment and practical activities. Learners will also take part in a work experience programme and have the opportunity to practice the skills they have acquired in a simulated work environment

Progression
This course will prepare you for work in the fields of retailing and administration or you could progress to the BTEC First Diploma in Business if you achieve a merit grade or above.
