Course Content
The course includes:

• Horticulture
• Enterprise activities
• Community and Citizenship activities
• Improving Work Skills
• Personal and Social Development skills
• Healthy lifestyle
• ICT

In addition, the students attend English and Maths courses relevant to their individual level.
The course will use the skills learned in a practical way to create an enterprise and raise funds for charity. In addition, the course will recognise healthy aspects of life and promote financial well being.
There will be weekly work experience included within the course as well as opportunities to work in the community and participate in fundraising events.

Assessment/Exams
Throughout the course there will be continuous assessment, portfolio building and short tasks.

Progression/Career Path
This course will help you to develop your skills and confidence in finding paid and/or voluntary employment. You will also be developing your English, Maths and study skills to enable you to progress to a vocational Level 1 course.

Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications required.
Learners need to be working at a minimum of entry level 2 for English and Maths
